Renée has lived in Santa Barbara and in the Santa Ynez Valley for the past 40 years. She is an enthusiastic painter of her beautiful surroundings in the wine country. Her inspiration comes from the vistas she sees from her home, from the many ranch animals in the area, from the changing light on a familiar setting, or when a still life subject presents itself. Travel offers abundant new painting opportunities as well, and keeps the excitement of fresh ideas alive.
